Raku Glaze Firing Workshop
Join us for an exciting evening of raku glaze firing — a fast-paced, dramatic process that produces stunning, unpredictable, and metallic finishes you can’t achieve in a regular kiln. During this workshop, your glazed pieces will be fired in a raku kiln, then quickly removed and placed in combustible materials to create beautiful, one-of-a-kind effects.
Participants may bring up to 6 bisque-fired pieces (each no larger than approximately 8”x8”x11”). We recommend using raku clay to minimize the risk of thermal shock. You’re welcome to use the raku glazes we provide, or you can bring your own brush-on raku glazes of choice to personalize your results even further.

• 💵 Fee: $170 per person
• 🛠️ All tools, materials, and raku glazes provided (or bring your own brush-on raku glaze)
• 📍 Once you purchase your ticket, we’ll share the exact location of the raku firing site (just about 10 minutes from the studio).
• 🔥 Last day to turn in pieces for bisque firing (to guarantee they’re ready for the workshop): August 18
